The short version

Version 1.1 · Effective September 2, 2026 · Last updated September 2, 2026

PageSpeedHost is managed static website hosting, operated by Ismael Laos, a sole proprietor doing business as PageSpeedHost in Georgia, United States. This policy covers the PageSpeedHost website and the hosting service.

We collect what we need to answer your questions, take your payment, set up your hosting without breaking your email, and support you afterwards. We do not run analytics, we do not use advertising or marketing trackers, and we do not sell personal information.

Privacy questions and requests: support@pagespeedhost.com.

What we collect

1. When you use the contact form

The form asks for your name, email address, and your message. It also has two optional fields: your website address and a topic.

When you submit it, the form runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to confirm you are not a bot, and your submission is then emailed to our support mailbox. We do not keep a separate database of form submissions — for this form or the onboarding one, the email is the record.

2. When you buy hosting

Checkout is operated by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe collects your email address, full name, and business name, together with the payment details needed to take the payment.

We never receive or store your card number. Card details go to Stripe and stay with Stripe. What reaches us is the account information needed to run your subscription — who you are, how to contact you, and whether the subscription is active and paid.

3. When you complete onboarding

After purchase we ask for what we need to set your hosting up safely: your domain, who hosts the site today, where the domain is registered, whether the site is WordPress, whether the domain is also used for email and if so which email provider, how you would like the domain connected, your name, email address, an optional phone number, your business name, and any notes you want to add.

When you submit the form it runs the same bot check as the contact form, and your answers are emailed to our support mailbox. As with the contact form, there is no separate PageSpeedHost database behind it — the email is the record we work from. You can also email your answers to support@pagespeedhost.com instead if you prefer.

Submitting the form does not change anything about your website, your domain, your DNS, or your email. It sends us information to review.

4. When you email us

If you write to support@pagespeedhost.com or hello@pagespeedhost.com, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message, along with your email address.

5. Technical information

Like any website, this one is delivered over the internet by an infrastructure provider that necessarily sees request information — your IP address, your browser and device type, and details of the page you requested. That is used to deliver the site and to protect it from attack and abuse.

The bot check on our forms sends your IP address and similar browser and network characteristics to Cloudflare Turnstile so it can tell a person from a script. Cloudflare states that these signals are used for that purpose and not for advertising.

Our form-handling code writes error records when something goes wrong — a failed bot check or an email that would not send. Those records deliberately contain the technical failure only, not the contents of your message or your onboarding answers.

Cookies and tracking

6. What this site does not do

The PageSpeedHost website runs no analytics, no advertising or marketing pixels, and no behavioural profiling. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites.

Our own pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

7. The exceptions, stated plainly

One third-party script runs on this site, and only on the two pages with a form — the contact page and the onboarding page: the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check. Depending on how Cloudflare configures the check, it may set a cookie or use browser storage on those pages as part of confirming you are a person. It is there to stop spam, not to track you.

Stripe’s checkout runs on Stripe’s own pages, and Stripe sets whatever cookies it needs there under its own privacy policy. When you leave our site for checkout, you are on Stripe’s pages, not ours.

If we ever add analytics, we will update this page before doing so.

Why we use it, and who else sees it

8. What we use information for

  • answering enquiries and providing support;
  • taking payment and administering your annual subscription, including renewals, cancellations, and refunds;
  • setting up your hosting, reviewing your website, and connecting your domain;
  • identifying the DNS and email records already attached to your domain so that connecting your website does not interrupt them;
  • operating, maintaining, and securing the hosting service;
  • preventing spam and abuse;
  • keeping the records a business needs to keep, including for billing, accounting, and resolving disputes;
  • meeting legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it to train AI systems.

9. Service providers

Running a hosting service means other companies necessarily handle some information on our behalf. The ones that matter for your data are:

  • Cloudflare — delivers and secures this website and the hosting service, runs the code behind our contact form, and provides the Turnstile bot check.
  • Stripe — operates checkout and processes payments and subscription billing.
  • Resend — delivers the email that our contact and onboarding forms generate.

Each of these processes information so that we can provide the service, under its own terms and privacy policy. We also use an email provider for the support@pagespeedhost.com and hello@pagespeedhost.com mailboxes, which necessarily handles messages you send us.

10. We do not sell your information

PageSpeedHost does not sell personal information, and does not share it for advertising.

We do share information with the service providers listed above, because they are how the service works. That is a different thing from selling it, and we would rather say so precisely than claim we never share anything with anyone.

11. When the law is involved

We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with the law or with legal process, to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, of others, or of us.

12. If the business changes hands

If PageSpeedHost is ever sold, reorganised, or transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that, subject to applicable law. Nothing of the kind is planned; the clause exists so the position is clear if it ever happens.

Your website, and how long we keep things

13. Your website content

There is a difference between information we collect about you and information that happens to be inside your website. Your site’s pages, images, and text are your content, and they may contain personal information you have chosen to publish — staff names, a business address, contact details.

We process that content as needed to host, publish, recover, export, and support your website. We do not read through your files manually as a matter of course, and we do not use your website content for any purpose other than running the service for you.

14. Domain and DNS information

Much of what a domain publishes — the DNS records that tell the internet where your website and email live — is publicly visible by design, and we do not treat it as confidential. What you tell us during onboarding is different: your registrar, your email provider, and how your setup actually works are operational details you have given us, and we use them only to plan and carry out your hosting setup without disrupting services you already rely on.

15. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we need it for billing, accounting, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. We have not set an arbitrary number of days for this, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a figure we do not actually operate to.

  • Account and transaction records — kept for the life of the hosting relationship and afterwards as needed for billing, accounting, and dispute resolution.
  • Contact and support correspondence — kept for as long as it is useful to the request and to your account history.
  • Onboarding information — kept while it is needed to provide and manage your hosting.

Your website files are separate, and those periods are defined. Recovery copies of previous versions are kept for at least 90 days, a recoverable copy of your current site is kept while the service is active, and if a website is suspended for nonpayment its files are retained for a further 60 days before becoming eligible for permanent deletion. Those rules are set out in our Terms of Service, and they govern website files rather than the personal information described above.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, keep access limited to what is needed to run the service, and rely on the security controls of the established infrastructure providers we build on.

No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise.

Your choices, and the rest

17. Asking us about your information

Email support@pagespeedhost.com and you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete information, where we are able to;
  • answer any other question you have about this policy.

We will need to be reasonably satisfied who you are before acting on a request about an account.

Some things we cannot delete on request: records we need to keep for billing, accounting, or a legal obligation, information required to resolve a dispute, and information we still need to run a service you are actively using. Where that applies we will tell you what we are keeping and why.

18. Where we operate

PageSpeedHost is operated from Georgia, United States, and information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information will be handled in the United States.

19. Children

PageSpeedHost is a business hosting service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@pagespeedhost.com and we will delete it.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The version and dates at the top of this page tell you which one you are reading.

Where a change is material, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect, normally by email to customers. Changing this page does not retroactively change what we were permitted to do with information already collected.
